This page (still under construction) serves as a reminder how much has been achieved in 18 months.  A major renovation in the depths of Winter not highly recommended  nor is a 3 month stint with a "builders dunny" as  the only functioning toilet... in the afore mentioned depths of winter.

We had decided this was to be our retirement home and set about renovating the house to reflect our style and needs... not jus because we grow older with each passing day, but rather in 10 years time the bod may not be as flexible as it is now.

The small ensuite in the master subsumed the existing main bathroom, the fifth bedroom became the new main bathroom, new double glazed windows through out ( 28 of 'em), new blackbutt flooring, skylights in the main lounge, insulation in the roof space and in all new walls, 120m of socked aggie pipe in the front and back yard to resolve some drainage issues etc... etc.. etc...

November 2020.                                                                                                                             October 2021
The space between the house and the garages received a serious make-over with Aggie pipe and road base then topped with 7mm quartz gravel. This allowed two pétanque  pistes to be developed... and a drainage issue to be resolved.

The western side of the front yard also received the grass removal scrape and drainage treatment. The concrete apron that runs the length and breadth of the house on two sides was also replaced so the fall was away from the building and not to it.
