Sinful Shanghai

Shanghai on a clear day is marvellous thing. A city that has a long history of arcane delights  occasionally comes clean... if only briefly... and only in the context of atmosphere.

Shot from the Bund promenade on what for all intents and purposes is a clear morning. For anyone who hasn't been to Shanghai, the Oyster Pearl TV (Pink) Tower provides a neat view of the Bund area and more. This next snap is taken from the highest vantage point on the tower around 5pm. Gotham City emerges... the grubbiness of Shanghai refused to be denied. 

Speaking of grubby... when walking the mall street at early evening a single Anglo male of a certain age is considered fair game from every tout (of either gender) for a "massage" service with a variety of happy endings. The common approach was "Just come and look.  Beautiful girls"
